1.Workshop: One Day Workshop On Revised Syllabus –B.A.III History 25/01/2019
A One Day University Level workshop on Revised Syllabus for B.A III (History) was organized by the Department of History, A.R.Burla Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Solapur on 25th Jan 2019 between 9 am to 5.00 pm. Workshop was inaugurated by the hands of Dr. Kirti Panday, Dean, Commerce Faculty of Solapur Univesity, Solapur under the presence of Principal Dr. Rajendra Shendage. The Workshop was followed by five sessions. Registration was held in the first session. The discussion on Ancient India paper No.7 &12 second session Prof.Manoj Kasbe and Dr. Hanmant Londhe gave detailed information about Paper No.7 & 12 respectively Prof.. V.J. Andhare spoke on History of Mughal India Paper No.8 & 13 Dr. Vikas Kadam was the president of session. In third session Dr. Shivaji Waghmode addressed the audience on Rise and Decline of Maratha Power Paper no. 9 and 14. In the third session on History of Modern World Paper no. 10 and 15 Dr. Jogdand Sir addressed the audience. Dr. Nabha Kakde was president of the session. As well as Dr. Rajendra Gaikwad and Dr. Mogle spoke on Historical Places and Douments Paper no. 11 and 16 in fourth session. Dr. Kapshikar graced the session as President. Valedictory ceremony held in fifth session. On the occasion Prin. Dr. Sopan Jawle, Suvarnlata Gandhi College, Vairag was present. Dr. Shivanand Bhanje was the president of the session. Total 25 professors and 25 students of History actively participated in the workshop.
2.16TH State Level Student’s History Congress Date -26/02/2019
Department of History of A.R.Burla Mahavidyalaya,Solapur has organized “Student’s History Congress 16th State Level Conference” on 26th February 2019. The conference was inaugurated by the hands of Principal Dr. Vasantrao Bansude, Ex. Member of MPSC Committee and Principal Dr. Rajendra Shendage was the chairperson of the ceremony. Principal K.M.Jamadar and Dr. Shrikant Yelegaokar were also present at the moment. Total 79 students and 12 professors of colleges were actively in the conference from all over Maharashtra. Shri Anand Kumbhar was awarded with “Jeevan Gaurav Purashkar” and Shri Nitin Anvekar was awarded with “History Researcher Award” for their valuable contribution in the research field. 47 students presented their research papers in the conference. Dr. Nabha Kakade chaired the session. Miss. Sonali Jinde, Miss. Alisha Shaikh and Mr. Sagar Sutar were awarded with “Best Research Paper Award” from Ancient History Section. Miss. Shivani Waghmare, Miss. Bhavana Gaikwad, Miss. Vrushali Bone, Miss. Sarika Gophane, Akhar Sayyad and Mr. Sourabh Tammewar were awarder with “Best Research Paper Award” from Medieval Section. Miss. Ruksana Shiledar, Miss. Sharada Kasbe, Miss. Sandhya Chandanshive, Miss. Pooja Dhandekar, Miss. Afrin Shaikh, Mr. Arjun Rathod and Mr. Bapu Urmude and Mr. Atul Rathod were awarded with the “Best Research Paper Award” from Modern Section. Prof. Namdevrao Garad was chief guest of valedictory function and Prof. M.M.Maske was chairperson of the ceremony. Prof. Laxmi Reddy, Dr. Jyoti Surwase, Dr.Jayashri Kulkarni, Prof. Revansiddh Berungi and Dr. Shila Swami kindly supported for the success of the conference. Dr. T.N.Shinde, Dr. Sainath Kabade, Dr. Swati Ghatole, teaching and non teaching staff took efforts to make conference successful under the able guidance of Pri. Dr. Rajendra Shendage Sir.
3. 16th National History Congress
16th National History Congress was organized by A. R. Burla Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Solapur in collaboration with IQAC , Department of History and Itihas Sanshodhan Mandal, Solapur on 18th Jan. 2020. The programme was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of Dr. Vikas Kadam, I/C Pro- Vice Chancellor and Dean, Social Sciences Faculty, PAH Solapur University, Solapur. Mr. Kashinath Gaddam, President, Padmashali Shikshan Sanstha was the president of the inaugural function. Prin. Dr. Rajendra Shendage, A. R. Burla Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Solapur, Dr.Sopan Jawale, President, Itihas Sanshodhan Mandal, Solapur, Dr. Shivaji Waghmode, Vice President, Itihas Sanshodhan Mandal, Solapur and other dignitaries were present at the moment. Retired Prin. Mr. N. K. Bagul from Aurangabad delivered his keynote address. Total 30 research articles were presented by the research scholars and selected research articles were published in the form book under the title "Itihas Sanshodhanatil Navadrushthikon". Prin. Dr. Rajendra Shendage sir was president of the valedictory ceremony and Dr. H. M. Londhe, Member, Board of Studies in History PAH Solapur University, Solapur was the chief guest of the function.Total 70 teachers and students actively participated in the same.
